We host a team holiday party to recognize a successful season, show appreciation for our people, and create space for connection beyond the day-to-day work.
At Carrington Lawn & Landscape, our work is built on people. The kind of people who show up early, take pride in details, and care about doing things the right way. So when the season slows down and the year starts to wrap up, we make it a point to come together and celebrate.
That’s exactly what our Holiday Party 2025 was all about: recognizing a successful year, showing genuine appreciation for our team, and giving everyone a chance to connect outside of the day-to-day rhythm of the job.
A Tradition We Look Forward To Every Year
This holiday party has become an annual Carrington Lawn & Landscape tradition, and it’s one we’re proud to keep going. This year, we gathered in Fitchburg, Wisconsin at the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co., which has been our go-to venue for the past five years.
It’s a familiar space, and that’s part of what makes it feel special. Year after year, it’s become a place where stories get shared, laughs come easy, and our team gets to enjoy each other in a way that just doesn’t happen when everyone’s working in different neighborhoods and on different job sites.
Behind the Scenes: Planning That Makes It Feel Effortless
A smooth event always takes a little coordination, and we’re grateful for the people who helped bring it together.
There wasn’t a formal theme, and that was intentional. The purpose of the night was simple: to celebrate another strong season and thank the people who made it possible.
Sometimes the best events aren’t overly structured. They’re just well-hosted, welcoming, and full of the kind of moments you can’t plan on a schedule.
A Full-Team Celebration (Plus the People Who Support Them)
One of the things we love most about our holiday party is how inclusive it feels. This event brought together all staff members from across the Madison metro area, along with many of their significant partners.
In industries like lawn and landscape where uniforms are part of the job, it’s genuinely fun to see everyone show up in “street clothes.” It changes the vibe in the best way. You get to see personalities shine, meet the people behind the people, and connect beyond the quick conversations that happen in passing during a busy workday.
It’s a reminder that behind every project, every schedule, and every high standard we hold ourselves to, there’s a team of real people making it all happen.
Welcoming New Faces Into the Carrington Lawn & Landscape Community
This year was especially meaningful because we’ve added some new key staff members to the Carrington Lawn & Landscape team.
A holiday party might seem like a small thing, but it’s actually one of the best ways to help new team members feel the culture quickly. It’s relaxed, social, and welcoming. There’s no pressure to “perform.” You simply show up, share a meal, and feel what it’s like to be part of the group.
The Raffle Wall: The Moment Everyone Waits For
If you’ve been to a Carrington Lawn & Landscape holiday party before, you already know: the raffle is the main event. The prizes are a mix of practical, exciting, and downright awesome, including things like:

We set every prize out along one wall so everyone can browse during the party, start building their wish list, and “fantasize” about what they’ll grab when their raffle number gets called.

It’s common for team members to stick around even after the party officially ends, because the energy stays high and the night feels like a real celebration.
