Mulching – Nothing sharpens the look of a landscape like fresh mulch. Besides appearance, having the right amount of mulch is critical to the health of your landscape plantings. It helps keep moisture in the ground by the plants root system while organically decomposing over time giving nutrients back to the soil. Beds should be topped off each season with a thin layer rather than mounding up the beds every few years. Three to four inches is usually desired in most beds. Mulch also helps prevent weeds from germinating and becoming eye soars. To further prevent weeds, pre-emergent weed control should be applied before installation (see next item below).

We will install any type of mulch you desire and stock two kinds: Standard double shredded hardwood bark mulch (brown) and a premium double shredded oak product stained deep brown to hold its color longer. We also offer coco-bean mulch to annual flower beds where bark mulch cannot be applied. Delivery only or installation is always available.

Weeding – We offer customized weeding packages to meet your exact needs. We hand weed as well as apply pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides. Non-chemical options are also available.

Watering & Fertilizer - Water and fertilizers are essential for any flowers to survive. Depending on the specific plantings, different requirements must be met. We will create and follow a specific schedule for your plantings.

Maintenance – As important as planting correctly, proper maintenance is critical to plant health and appearance. From watering when Mother Nature doesn’t to deadheading flowers wanting to bloom again, we love getting our hands dirty so you don’t have to. We will come up with a full service maintenance plan allowing your plantings to thrive all season long.
